Oct-21 to Oct-27, 2018
This trek with Paramahamsa Prajnananandaji in the Rift Valley in Tanzania is to raise monies for Hariharananda Balashram. This is a rare opportunity to trek together and help the children of Balashram.
During the trek, we will journey together in the beautiful Rift Valley, which is home to several Maasai communities and many animals and birds. Led by Maasai guides we begin our trek in the foothills of Mount Longido trekking across the floor of the Great Rift Valley to the foothills of the Crater Highlands.
Each participant commits to raising sponsorship for Balashram and all the money raised will go directly to help the school and its children. The school was founded in 2004 with the support of Paramahamsa Prajnananandaji and was named after his beloved Master Paramahamsa Hariharanandaji. Balashram school now provides for 477 children whose welfare and lives have been greatly supported by the donations generated by these treks in previous years.
The trek is now over two thirds full but there are still some places available.
The trek is being organised by Charity Challenge who are based in London, UK and who have organised previous Balashram treks for us and is being coordinated by Kriya Yoga UK on behalf of our Kriya family worldwide.
