Charitable Health Center, Panarhat, West Bengal
In January, 2003, in the poor, remote village of Panarhat in West Bengal, a health center was established to provide free medical treatment , medical supplies, and health educational programs to the people who are in need of the most basic health care. It is functioning once every week and is served by local doctors and other volunteers. Since its inception, the center has treated nearly 14,000 patients.
