GoSeva Internship 2026

Loving Kriya Family,

We are happy to announce that applications are now open for the GoSeva Internship 2026 — a residential program at the Temple of Compassion for sincere Kriyavans who wish to deepen their sadhana through daily GoSeva (taking care of Gomata – Mother Cow), meditation, scriptural study, and simple ashram living.

This internship is open to Kriyavans who are initiated into the lineage of Paramahamsa Hariharananda and Paramahamsa Prajnanananda, and who feel called to live and serve in the peaceful environment of GoMata’s presence.

Guided by Sadhaka Sampath, interns will participate in all aspects of GoSeva — brushing and feeding the cows, learning halter training, maintaining the goshala, assisting during calving season, milking, and supporting the daily functioning of the herd.

Program Structure

The internship is designed as a minimum one-month immersion, with the possibility of extending up to six months by invitation, depending on mutual fit and the participant’s sincerity toward seva and sadhana.

The first month includes:

- Daily GoSeva: morning, evening, and as needed
- Three meditations per day
- Daily spiritual classes and group discussions
- Journaling, reflection, and contemplation
- A structured daily routine to help participants settle into ashram life
- Direct guidance and mentorship from Sadhaka Sampath and the GoMata team

Participants who thrive in this rhythm may be invited to stay longer, up to 6 months.

Start Date: April 24, 2026 - this date aligns with the GoMata Intensive so foundational orientation and teachings are shared. Some flexibility on start date is possible.

Capacity & Future Opportunities

The April 2026 cohort is limited to 4 participants to ensure personalized guidance and a manageable training environment.

Qualified applicants who are not part of this cohort will receive priority consideration for the next internship cycle.

Application Timeline & Rolling Review

Applications are being accepted now through March 2026.

However, we will review applications on a rolling basis, and the application may close early if all four seats are filled.

For this reason, we encourage sincere applicants to apply sooner rather than later.

Program Fee

$750/month, which includes:

- Lodging
- Meals
- Spiritual classes & guided sessions
- GoSeva training
- Access to ashram facilities

Financial sponsorship or subsidization may be available for qualified candidates.
