Kriya Yoga Initiation Event Guidelines

Saturday & Sunday Program:
Attendance on Saturday and Sunday is limited to those being initiated at this event and to individuals already initiated into Kriya Yoga in the sacred lineage of Paramahamsa Hariharananda and Paramahamsa Prajnanananda.

Age Requirement:
The minimum age for initiation is 13 years.

Participation Requirement:
Those receiving initiation at this event must attend both days (Saturday and Sunday) to gain a complete understanding of the Kriya Yoga technique.

Offerings Required for Initiation

Each initiate is requested to bring the following three offerings:

• Five fruits — Symbolizing the fruits gained from activities performed by the five organs of action. (May be of the same or different types.)

• Five flowers — Representing the five sense organs of perception. (May be of the same or different types.)

• $200 — Symbolizing the physical body and time. (Cash or check payable to “Kriya Yoga Institute”.)
