Guru Purnima is a day dedicated to the Masters. It is always held on a full moon day (in the month of āṣāḍh of the lunar calendar), when there is light both during the day and the night. It is a day to remember, contemplate, and meditate on the Masters, on their eternal teachings and on their ceaseless love, which we experience on this earth through spiritual awakening. Participating in a Guru Paduka Puja on this day is considered to be very auspicious, and here are a few words from Guruji about the significance of this worship:

“Life is a flower. When it is offered at the holy feet of the guru-preceptor, this divine union increases the beauty in life. The feet of the guru-preceptor are most precious to spiritual seekers. However, physically the seeker cannot easily access them. Therefore, there is the tradition of adoring and worshipping the sandals of the guru-preceptor. To an ordinary person, it is a ritual of external worship, but for seekers it is a humble submission of themselves to the sacred sandals. It is an expression of the seeker’s gratitude and love”

The event is open to all kriyavans and general public who are not yet initiated into Kriya Yoga. Please invite your family and friends as well.
May God and Gurus bless all.
